MEB Design CPD Day at RIBA Portland Place

    Posted on 2nd March 2015

Last week MEB Design Architects made use of the RIBA’s Council chambers to host a company training and Continuing Professional Development day. We were led by Phillippa Mole from Fresh Air Performance Coaching on activities around the concept of communities and how these exist inside and outside a company.

We were also lucky enough to have a presentation from Nigel Hyde at Home Leone, a charity set up with the mission of ‘Building Communities of Hope with the Poor’. Nigel spoke passionately about the charity whose work is primarily based in Sierra Leone, he explained what part communities have in their vision, what and who they have helped over the years since and what their further hopes are for the future.

We also managed to sneak in a quick look around the Charles Rennie Mackintosh exhibition currently being held at Portland Place. A great set of drawings, photos and models well worth a visit.
