They aim to maintain professionalism and competence and provide an opportunity to learn about new services, products and developments in Architecture.
Over two days in September we took the opportunity of the offices being together to take part in some training on Presentation Skills. A large part of being an Architect is about conveying ideas successfully and with confidence. Over these two days, the team from Fresh Air Coaching
headed by Phillippa Mole, ex-news presenter and GB bobsleigh team member, shared with us the necessary skills and techniques in order to make the most out of our presentations for maximum effect. We would like to thank Phillipa and the rest of her team for the coaching that we all thoroughly enjoyed and are already putting into practice.

MEB Design are pleased to announce that we have been awarded a Royal Tunbridge Wells Civic Society award for our design for a new house to replace an existing 1970s bungalow in a very fashionable part of the town. Our clients, Mr & Mrs Ian Turnbull, wanted a home that had a distinctly French feel to it, involving a mansard roof which meant that the profile of the new building was kept low. The new structure was erected on the foundations of the old bungalow and was completed just over year ago. Apart from some difficulty in obtaining planning permission, ironic now that the design has been given this award, the whole process of construction went through very smoothly with the main contractors, Sussex Construction, performing very well.
