Flexney's House, Oxfordshire
Alterations and extensions to a Grade II listed family home. The main part of the work involved converting a damp unused, partial courtyard into an interior space. This was done with the use of a double skin membrane roof to create a lightweight structure which also maximised natural light and kept the courtyard feel to the space. Included work involved an extension to the existing house, refurbishment and new oak and glazed link to old outbuildings which formed new study space.
Solar panels, ground source heat pump and underfloor heating was installed.
Completed in May 2008, Contract Value £250,000. |
