St Paul's Church, St Albans The project included the provision of a new entrance and concourse, constructed between an existing Church, and a detached church hall. In addition, new meeting rooms and an extended creche were provided, as well as a kitchen, and church office facilities. Complete internal refurbishment of the halls, church and caretakers flat was also included. Further, to enable the new concourse to function, and to improve the relationship of the worship space to the rest of the building, we where able to change the orientation of the worship space through 180°. Construction was phased to allow the church to continue using the building as much as possible.
