The Emma Academy is the creation of a Secondary educational centre for the whole community in Leer, West Upper Nile. The first phase involved the restoration of the existing primary school and the construction of a new 5 classroom block. The next phase includes the secondary school – the first in the area - as well as vocational training, sports, and teacher training facilities.
The first phase of the project is currently in construction.
